The “Add Web Map / App” block is designed to provide WordPress users with a more streamlined process for embedding ArcGIS web maps, web applications, Story Maps and Dashboards in their pages and posts. The “Add Web Map / App” block puts millions of interactive maps at the fingertips of bloggers, website creators, media outlets and news organizations. Download and unzip the plugin file
Upload the entire file into the “/wp-content/plugins directory of your WordPress site.
Activate “Web Maps for WordPress Plugin” in the Plugins admin panel

Upload the plugin file by clicking on “Plugins” from the menu bar in your admin panel. Click the “Add New” link within the plugin menu bar. Click the “Upload” link at the top of the Install Plugins Page. Choose File, Find the file. Click “Open.” Then click “Install Now” button.
Activate the plugin through the Plugins menu in WordPress (if it is not already activated).
The "Add Web Map / App" block selection enables users to quickly and easily insert ArcGIS Web Maps, Web Applications, Story Maps and Dashboards into their posts.
The latest featured maps from ArcGIS Online are initially shown in the search directory.
You can search and browse for maps by using keywords that are related to your post.
Once a map is chosen, you have several options for formatting and customizing your maps within the post.
The Content Tree will display items based on a particular group or group tag, then display that group's items in a detailed format.
The Content Slider will allow you to create a slideshow of your Web Maps and Apps.
