Elemendas Addons Plugin
This addon for Elementor allows you to display the number of results of the search query, as well as to highlight the searched string in the results.
This plugin is an addon for Elementor.
It adds the Search Results Title and the Search Results Highlight widget to the Search Results Archive. This widgets allows you to show the number of posts containing the search query, and to highlight the search query string within the results.
You can customize the message according to the number of results obtained:
- For no result,
- for a single result and
- for more than one result.
You can choose many alternatives to highlight the search string:
- Quotation marks
- Highlighter
- Underline
- and the typical color and typography controls
Note: The Search Results widgets need Elementor Pro, as they act on a page of the theme builder-
In addition to the above widgets, this plugin is constantly expanding, and now has these other widgets:
- Leaf List, a widget that transforms a simple list into a plant where each item is a leaf.
- 3D Carousel, an image carousel that rotates in three dimensions, with lightbox and hover effects.
- Fancy Nav Menu: Modifies the Nav Menu from Elementor Pro to add custom icons and custom colors to each menu item individually.
Installation
Minimum Requirements
- WordPress 5.0 or greater
- PHP version 5.6 or greater
- MySQL version 5.0 or greater
We recommend your host supports:
- PHP version 7.0 or greater
- MySQL version 5.6 or greater
- WordPress Memory limit of 64 MB or greater (128 MB or higher is preferred)
Installation
Follow the steps below:
- From your WordPress dashboard -> Go to ‘Plugins’ -> ‘Add new’ screen.
- In the ‘Search plugins…’ field, enter “Elemendas Addons” and choose it.
- Press ‘Install Now’.
- After installation, click ‘Activate’.
Alternatively:
1. Extract the zip file and drop the contents of the entire elemendas-addons
folder in the wp-content/plugins/
directory of your WordPress installation.
2. Activate the plugin through the ‘Plugins’ menu in WordPress.

How do I install Elemendas Addons? To install Elemendas Addons, follow the steps below:
- From your WordPress dashboard -> Go to ‘Plugins’ -> ‘Add new’ screen.

How do I use the Search Results Widgets? - Just create a search results archive at the Elementor’s theme builder.
- Go to Preview Settings.
- Set Preview Dynamic Content as “Search Results” and fill the Search Term.
- Adjust the Display Conditions to Search Results.
- Drag and drop the Archive Title widget to customize the title adding the results number and highlighting the search string.
- Drag and drop the Search Results Highlight widget to highlight the search string within the search results.
Relax! If you don’t follow the steps correctly, you will get a note with instructions in the editor when you add the widget
Remember: these widgets will only appear in archive templates.
